I got neither. I have to say right at the start that I started to like this show only after CBS sacked Charlie Sheen and hired Ashton Kutcher instead. So it's not like I'm criticising the show only because there isn't an old drug addict that clearly everyone loved watching so much.
Right at the start of the episode, Walden gets a heart attack for no reason whatsoever. He is immedeately transported to the hospital, where after many weird scenes and jokes (Berta dressed up as a nun, or people making fun of Alan's costume) we see that Walden realises that Alan and Berta are actualy his only family he has. After this shocking discovery he decides to adopt a child. He even goes to an agency that needs to analyse, whether Walden is capable of taking care of a child.
What are the chances that the women deciding this is Ross's ex-girlfriend Charlie from the beloved show Friends (LOL).Walden finds out that he cannot adopt a child unless he is married, and as he sais, and this was by the way the only part of the episode I laughed at "I don't want to marry somebody, just to marry somebody. It needs to be the right person ... or Mila Kunis." After this he randomly proposes to Alan, and this is where the episode ends.
I really really hope, that planing a wedding of Walden and Alan will not be the thing we're going to see in the upcoming episodes. This episode was just so bad. It lacked everything that we were used to. But I expect that the show will improve, and deliver exactly what we expect :)
